What is Sublative Laser Skin Resurfacing™?
Despite the name, Sublative Laser Skin Resurfacing™ doesn’t use laser light at all. The treatment utilizes fractionated bi-polar radio frequency to target damage deep in the dermis, while leaving the surface layer of the skin whole. This removes the need for the extended healing time of more aggressive lasers, while supplying the same effects. During Sublative Laser Skin Resurfacing™ treatments, fibroblasts stimulate the generation of new collagen to plump up wrinkles and skin demarcations from within, while the encompassing untreated tissue supports and accelerates the healing process of the affected areas. Unhealthy cells are replaced with fresh cells for a smoother, fresher complexion.
What does Sublative Laser Skin Resurfacing™ feel like?
Sublative Laser Skin Resurfacing™ can feel hot against the skin with some mild-discomfort, however, a topical numbing cream is applied to reduce sensation in the treatment area.
How many Sublative Laser Skin Resurfacing™ treatments will I need?
We recommend 3-4 treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart for optimal results.
When will I see results?
Following the procedure clients may experience swelling and redness that lasts a couple of hours to a few days. Some clients notice immediate results in the texture and appearance of the skin, however, many clients notice results progressively as collagen production increases—often after three to six months. Maintenance treatments may be recommended by your Medical Aestethician.
How long does the treatment take?
45-60 minutes depending on treatment area
