Approved by Health Canada, Dermaroller® offers a scientific solution for the most common symptoms of aging and is suitable for all skin types, however, it is not recommended for anyone with active acne.

How It Works
Microneedling uses a Dermaroller®—a mechanical tool with numerous tiny needles on its surface—to create micro-injuries in the dermis, stimulating the skin’s natural healing response.
As the needles puncture the dermis, the skin reacts by triggering the production of collagen and elastin, plumping the skin, and reducing the appearance of scars, fine lines, and other textural abnormalities.
Unlike chemical peels, dermabrasions, and some laser treatments, micro-needling is non-ablative, meaning it leaves the top layer of skin intact. This reduces the recovery period significantly and allows for treatment on virtually any part of the body.

When will I see results from Microneedling?
Visible signs of skin rejuvenation may take 6-8 weeks and will continue to improve over the following months. Following the procedure, the skin will appear pink or red for 24-48 hours, may feel tight, warm, or itchy—much like a sunburn—and minor bleeding or bruising may occur. Depending on the sensitivity of the skin, some clients may take up to a week to recover.
Is there any downtime from this treatment?
Your skin will be red after the treatment and you will need to stay out of the sun (and wear SPF). The redness will begin to fade within 24 hours and you can wear makeup after 24 hours has passed. Some more sensitive skin types may be lightly pink for 1-3 days after the treatment.
How often should I get this treatment?
We recommend 3-6 sessions for maximum results. You can purchase a package of 3 and save 10%.
How many treatments do I need?
While noticeable results can be obtained with a single treatment, we recommend 2-3 treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart for optimal results.
What does Microneedling feel like?
As numbing cream is first applied to the treatment area, the procedure is virtually painless. Clients will, however, experience pressure sensations throughout.
Who shouldn't get Microneedling?
Microneedling is a really great treatment for anyone who has acne scarring, however it should never be done on someone with active acne as it can further spread the acne and worsen the condition. Microneedling should never be performed over any raised or open lesions as well.
